Steve Burton Extends His Stay

May 26

Steve Burton has become the fifth player to accept his contract offer after signing a new two-year deal.

Burton saw off the challenge of Scott Stamps to become first choice left back at the end of the season just ended and is set to cement that position further in the new campaign with the departure of Stamps.

The left back, a 21 year-old native of Hull, had two spells with Harriers lasst season; first on loan and later permanently after his release by The Tigers.  Speaking to the Official Website he said, "I enjoyed it here last season and I am glad I have been given the opportunity to settle down at Kidderminster.  I like the way Kidderminster try to play football and I really think I can improve as a player at this club.  Jan Molby has given me the opportunity to prove myself in this division. Hopefully I can prove he has made the right decision."
