| Match Report |

With Stourport's ground out of action due to a fire, the game was
switched to Aggborough where Harriers comfortably progressed into
the semi-final.
The first half was fairly even, Stourport perhaps on top, but with Ian Bogie pulling the strings in the midfield it was Harriers who looked most likely to open the scoring. The best chance of the half fell to Stewart Hadley when he intercepted a backpass but somehow pulled his shot wide. Hadley made ammends after the break, rounding off a move involving Barry Horne and Thomas Poston. Stouport had a great chance to draw level after 68 minutes when Jamie Hart got past substitute keeper John Danby only to see his shot cleared off the line. With their best chance wasted, Stourport's heads began to drop and Harriers' superior fitness began to show. It was no surprise when Harriers increased their lead, Poston played the ball in from the right to Faulds whose shot was heading well wide until Hadley stretched out a leg to divert it into the net. Hadley completed his hat-trick moments later chasing a long ball played over the visiting defence and tucking his shot inside the far post. |
