Match Report by St@tto
A strong Harriers side somehow managed to contrive a defeat after dominating an incredibly one-sided game.

Harriers forced 20 corners to Rovers' 3 and managed 32 shots at goal to Bromsgrove's 6, but the most telling statistic was that The Greens took their chances while Harriers did not.  Bo Henriksen could have had a hatful of goals but was thwarted on many occasions by an inspired Matt Lowe in the Bromsgrove goal.

Rovers took the lead, however, after 18 minutes when Adie Smith fouled Matt Southwick in the penalty area and referee Steve Dorr had no hesitation in pointing to the spot.  Grant Beckett stepped up to take the kick and tucked it away neatly to Stuart Brock's right with the keeper diving in the wrong direction.

As the half wore on Harriers created more and more chances, Henriksen headed straight at Lowe from Ian Foster's free kick, saw the keeper save well low down after he had got in a good turn and shot and then somehow Steve Frost got in the way of his goalbound header from Flynn's deep cross.  Before the half ended Lowe saved again from Henriksen after he had pounced on a poor back pass and then Foster had a good shot well saved.

After the interval Harriers continued in the same way.  Lee Ayres flicked on a left wing corner for Sean Parrish who saw his shot from the edge of the area blocked on the line by Beckett.  After Henriksen had curled a shot just past the post he was denied again by Frost headed another attempt off the line.  Andy Bishop got closer with twenty minutes left when he turned Danny Williams' pass against the post.  Seconds later Sean Flynn spotted Lowe off his line and tried a lob from 30 yards but the keeper got back in time to push the shot out for a corner.

Eventually the equaliser arrived, Foster's left wing corner was met at the far post by the head of Ayres who gave Lowe no chance.  Henriksen had another good chance to give Harriers the lead but his shot was blocked by Stewart Brighton.  Almost inevitably Bromsgrove regained the lead, although in farcical circumstances, Ayres blotted his copy book with a terrible attempt at heading back to Brock that landed at the feet of Ashley Reed who was able to chip the ball over the stranded keeper to win the game.
