Match Report
A thoroughly professional performance from a strong Harriers side saw them brush aside Herefordshire side Wellington and progress to the Quarter-Final of the Worcester Royal Infirmary Cup.

Harriers started brightly and went ahead in the fifth minute when Stewart Hadley was on hand to turn in the rebound after Panniers had parried Sam Shilton's cross. Ben Davies set up Andy Ducros with a raking cross-field pass and Ducros doubled the lead with a 20-yard shot through a crowded penalty area.

Wellington were unable to cope with waves of Harriers attacks, and the goals continued to flow as Tony Bird stabbed in Peter Faulds' right wing cross from close range, and then Faulds himself hit the fourth from the edge of the penalty area.

After the break there was a short lull until Harriers stepped up the pressure again and Parfait Medou-Otye powerfully headed in the fifth from Ducros' corner. Sam Shilton added the sixth racing onto Ian Joy's defence splitting pass before tucking his shot past Panniers into the bottom corner.

Wellington helped Harriers to further increase the advantage when Owen Marriott turned the ball into his own net while trying to clear Matt Lewis' shot which was going wide. Substitute Lewis did get on the scoresheet to complete the rout firing home Tim Jackson's deep cross from the left.
