Match Report by St@tto
Harriers cruised to a comfortable victory over Hinckley to maintain their unbeaten start to the season and their position at the top of the league.

Harriers started brightly but it was Hinckley who almost opened the scoring after just six minutes when Danny Bowes' pass sprung the offside trap but Rafael Frank pulled his shot wide of the far post.  Three minutes later Harriers were ahead, Tom Willmore crossed from the right and Michael Xiourouppa headed in firmly at the near post.

On an awkward surface Harriers tried to play their normal passing game and caused Hinckley a lot of problems but it was a more direct attack that brought the second goal after 16 minutes.  Daniel O'Gorman launched a long kick towards the Hinckley penalty area and Terence Carpenter was first to the ball to lob it over James Flinders.

As the half wore on Harriers eased off the pressure and allowed Hinckley back into the game.  After 32 minutes the home team pulled a goal back, Bowes raced clear of the defence and came out of O'Gorman's tackle with the ball which he rolled into the empty net.

After the interval Harriers continued to dominate and three minutes in the two-goal advantage was restored when Xiourouppa headed in a right wing cross, Flinders got his hand to it but could only help it into the net off the post.  The fourth was a similar goal, another cross from the right but this time it was substitute Adam Blake who got his head to it at the near post.

Harriers created a string of chances, Willmore had a long range shot sved by Flinders and Matt White skimmed the post with a shot.  White then pulled a shot wide after good work by Xiourouppa on the left, and then finally got his name on the scoresheet with two minutes remaining with a blistering shot from nearly 30 yards out to complete the scoring.
