Match Report by St@tto
Harriers found a return to form with their first victory since September 18 after three consecutive defeats.

It did not go all Harriers way, however, and after Chris McHale had had a header cleared off the line and Peter Carter had grazed the top of the crossbar with a long range shot, Cradley began to find their feet and get into the game.  Dan Franklyn and Greg Poole both went close before a Matt White back-pass beat Craig Johnson in the Harriers goal and almost went into his own net.

The visitors gradually built up a head of steam and deservedly took the lead after 33 minutes, Wayne Lacey heading into the roof of the net from a left wing corner.  The advantage was short-lived, though, within three minutes Harriers were level.  A long crossfield pass went over the head of Cradley right back Poole and into the path of Peter Carter who tucked his shot under Lee Brettle in the visitors' goal.

The goal immediately seemed to give Harriers a confidence that had been lacking for some time and three minutes later they were in front.  A right wing corner was headed on by McHale to the feet of Michael Xiourouppa who turned smartly and fired past Brettle.  On the stroke of half time Harriers increased their lead with Richard Langford's third goal of the season finishing powerfully from close range after Nick Heath had crossed from the right.

Harriers continued to dominate the game after the break and went further ahead with Xiourouppa's second - a close range effort after 58 minutes.  The home team created a string of good chances that they failed to capitalise on, nine minutes after the goal Langford broke free on the right only to see his shot come back off the far post and then substitute Luke Marcus following up somehow managed to hit his shot from two yards out against the defender on teh line when it appeared easier to score.

Despite the deficit Cradley did not give up and could have pulled a goal back after 76 minutes when Duncan Chance saw his header cleared off the line by Simon Fitter and four minutes later Paul Price pulled a shot across the face of goal and just wide of the far post from a narrow angle on the right.

Harriers wrapped up the tie two minutes later, Daniel Bulmer crossed from the right, Marcus allowed the ball to run to Ross Braiden at the far post who slotted it his shot neatly past Brettle.
