Match Reportby St@tto
Harriers stretched their unbeaten run to five games with a convincing four-goal victory over Nuneaton Borough at Aggborough.

The first half was an even, both teams played some good football but to a certain extent cancelled each other out and the play was concentrated in midfield.  The best scoring chance of the half fell to Harriers, Matt White curled a free kick from 30 yards narrowly over the crossbar.

After the break it was a completely different game.  Harriers took the lead just two minutes into the half, Daniel Lennon made a good run into the penalty area and squared the ball to David Stanbra who was left with an easy tap in.  Daniel Bulmer, on as a half time substitute, came close to doubling the lead on the hour, he left former Harriers defender Scott Lower for dead and hit a sharp shot that Andy Needham did well to stop at the foot of his right-hand post.  From the resultant corner Chris McHale found the net with a looping header.

Nuneaton heads dropped now and they were never in the game again, always second to the ball and rarely winning a tackle while Harriers played with more and more confidence.  McHale almost added a second after 69 minutes, again from a corner, when he headed Matt White's cross against the crossbar.  The third goal arrived fifteen minutes from the end, Tom Willmore began the move with a raking pass to Lennon on the right wing, his cross towards Stanbra at the near post was only half cleared and fell to Willmore who lashed a volley into the top corner from the edge of the penalty area.

Four minutes later Harriers were awarded a penalty.  Lennon's pace was too much for Richard Woods and the Nuneaton defender brought him down.  Lennon stepped forward to take the kick himself and beat Needham with a low shot.  Nuneaton's best chance of the game came two minutes from the end with a free kick 25 yards out that Andy Crabtree curled over the wall but Steven Parker was well positioned and held onto it easily and ensured Harriers kept their fifth clean sheet in the last seven games.
