Match Report by St@tto
Harriers moved closer to retaining the Floodlit League title with a 3-1 victory over Boldmere that stretched their unbeaten run to eight matches.

The rock hard pitch at Bromsgrove made good football difficult and the first half soon became scrappy.  Harriers, however, adapted better and created chances to open the scoring, Richard Bailey and Stuart Skitt both had shots saved before Matt Lewis found the net.  Phil Garner advanced on the left and his ball into the box deflected off a defender and into the path of Lewis who tucked his shot past Murphy.

Harriers' failure to convert the chances that they were creating cost them dearly after 58 minutes when Boldmere equalised.  Amos broke towards the Harriers penalty area and found Mike Blakeman on the right and he beat John Danby with a 25 yard shot into the top corner.  Harriers hit back and were in front again two minutes later, Skitt's right wing corner found its way to Indepaul Khela at the far post whose initial shot was blocked but he fired the rebound in.

Once back in front Harriers controlled the game.  Matt Lewis should have increased the advantage on 66 minutes when Casy Caggini got to the byline on the right and crossed well but Lewis headed tamely straight at the keeper.  Substitute Terence Carpenter wrapped the game up two minutes from time, Lee Yates sprung the Boldmere offside trap, which had caught Harriers out seventeen times, and set him clear on goal and he beat Murphy with a perfectly judged lob from 25 yards.
