Match Report by St@tto
Harriers moved to within four points of the league title with a convincing victory at second placed Nuneaton.

Nuneaton were unbeaten in the league all season, and also last season, but were easily brushed aside by a Harriers side that quickly adapted to the awkward conditions of a very uneven and sloping pitch.

Terence Carpenter and Matt Lewis both had early shots saved before Inderpaul Khela gave Harriers the lead.  Phil Garner crossed from deep on the left and in the confusion Khela forced the ball in from close range at the far post.  Nuneaton were forced to defend for most of the half and were restricted to a handful of counter-attacks but poor finishing meant that they never troubled John Danby in the Harriers goal.

Harriers went further ahead with another goal from Khela, this time heading in at the far post from Stuart Skitt's right wing corner, and shortly before the interval the game was as good as won when Nuneaton keeper Jagri Jhuti could only palm Skitt's free-kick into the net.

After the break Harriers continued to dominate, Matt Lewis had a header cleared off the goalline and another saved in the first five minutes of the half.  Nick Heath and Richard Bailey also went close as Harriers pressed for further goals and their position was strengthened midway through the half when Nuneaton were reduced to ten men.  With all three substitutes used they lost striker Roy Dunkley to injury and had to see out twenty minutes a man short.

Somehow Nuneaton managed to withstand the Harriers pressure almost to the end of the game but a fourth goal eventually came.  Another set-piece, this time a free-kick from Caggini, led to the goal with Chris McHale heading in at the far post.

As time ran out, Harriers were also reduced to ten men when Matt Lewis was sent-off.  A decision did not go Harriers' way and Lewis was dismissed for comments directed at the linesman.
