Match Report
Harriers suffered their first league defeat of the season despite dominating the game from start to finish, falling to a last minute breakaway goal.

The early stages of the gane were quite scrappy, Harriers had most of the possession, but struggled to string together any sequence of passes, while their oppponents were looking sharp and obviously keen to cause an upset. It was not until the later stages of the first half that Harriers began to turn their possession into chances, Terence Carpenter shot over and Dale James and Nick Heath had shots saved by Andy Wheeler who then made a fine double save from Glynn and James in the last minute of the half.

After the break, playing down the slope Harriers created more chances and restricted the visitors to a handful of breakaways. Carpenter came close but hit the crossbar, and Nuneaton almost took the lead when Phil Garner misjudged a long ball which sailed over his head and Roy Dunkley lobbed the ball just too high.

The winning goal came as Harriers threw men forwards in an attempt to grab a late goal. Darren Henry lost possession and Danial Williams' pass set up Dunkley who tucked his shot past the advancing Danby and into the far corner. Five minutes of stoppage time were played, and Harriers pressed until the end but apart from Chris McHale's weeak header didn't cause Nuneaton any serious problems.
