Match Report
Harriers staged a late comeback to deservedly beat Redditch and progress into the final of the County Youth Cup where they will face Alvechurch who beat Worcester by the same scoreline.

Harriers dominated the opening period of the game but Redditch soaked up the pressure well, and when called upon Duncan McDonald in the visitors' goal made crucial saves. First he tipped a dipping shot from Matt Reeves over the bar, and then was quick off his line to foil Tim Jackson.

After the break Redditch took the lead against the run of play. Stuart Mason curled in a low corner from the right which crept inside the near post despite the presence of a defender. Harriers pressed on and eventually, after a couple of wasted chances, made the breakthrough. Mason was adjudged to have pushed Richard Langford in the back and Langford himself stepped up to take the penalty and struck his shot neyond McDonald's dive.

Harriers grabbed a winner shortly afterwards as Redditch heads dropped, the ball was played in from the right and as it looped up off a defender Langford beat McDonald to it and headed it over the keeper into the net. From then on the game was over as Redditch had nothing else to offer and didn't threaten an equaliser.
