Match Report by St@tto
Harriers suffered their first defeat of the season a heavy loss to West Brom at Aggborough.

The first half was a fairly even affair, Harriers played good football and looked in control.  It was the home team that had the first good chance to open the scoring after 17 minutes with a 20-yard shot from Tom Willmore that went narrowly past the post.  At the other end Kyle Paterson was proving to be a handful and he was denied only by the outstretched fingertips of Daniel O'Gorman after outpacing the Harriers defence.

Nick Heath saw a long range shot saved low down by Peter Nightingale in the visitors' goal, and the keeper also kept out an attempted lob by Michael Xiourouppa before West Brom took the lead right on half time.  Some intricate passing on the edge of the Harriers penalty area lead to Lee Sherwood firing a shot into the roof of the net from outside the box.

Shortly after the interval Albion doubled their advantage, the ball was played through the middle of the Harriers defence, who were all sttod waiting for an offside flag that didn't come, and Paterson raced clear and had time to pick his spot.

In the second half the Harriers midfield didn't seem as well organised as they had in the first and the pacey Albion attack took advantage.  A third goal came on the hour, Sherwood's right wing corner was headed in by the unmarked Jack Cudworth.  Substitute Rob Elvins had a couple of chances but both were saved by O'Gorman as West Brom grew stronger, and after they were reduced to ten men with twelve minutes remaining when Paterson limped off injured the visitors still continued to control the game.

With ten minutes to go Elvins found the net to make it 4-0, another long ball opened up the Harriers defence and Elvins outpaced Ashley Pringle before tucking his shot past O'Gorman.  The scoreline took on an even more unhealthy look after 85 minutes when Cameron McHugh dribbled into the penalty area leaving defenders in his wake, his shot was saved but Elvins followed up to tap in the loose ball and complete the scoring.
