Match Report by St@tto
Harriers moved to within a point of retaining the league title with a convincing win over Quorn at Bromsgrove.

Quorn were one of the form teams in the division having won their last four matches but they were never in the game as Harriers inflicted their heaviest defeat of the season on them.

After a slow start, playing up the slope, Harriers began to create chances and Richard Bailey was the first to test Mike Varnum in the visitors' goal.  Matt Lewis then opened the scoring capitalising on an error by Varnum, he charged down the keeper's attempted clearance and lobbed it back over him into the empty net.

Lewis was then involved in Harriers' second goal, his pass set Nick Heath free on the right and he in turn crossed for Richard Langford to head in.  Heath was also denied by Varnum before the break, as was Lewis who twice went close.  Quorn never threatened at the other end, John Danby was not called upon to make a save during the whole game.

After the break Harriers continued to dominate and Langford almost increased the lead but headed weakly straight at Varnum.  Langford did find the net again just after the hour, Lewis flicked on a long throw from the left and Langford scored with a looping header.  Harriers had the game wrapped up now and it wasn't long before a fourth goal arrived, Tom Willmore swung over a cross from the left and Lewis headed it in at the near post.

Harriers finished the game off with a flourish, scoring twice more in the last five minutes.  First Willmore was allowed to run right through the Quorn defence before planting his shot past Varnum, and the Chris McHale completed the scoring with a 20 yard strike.
