Match Report by St@tto

Back in action for the first time in nearly a month Harriers slipped to a disappointing seventh defeat in-a-row.

Caretaker-manager Colin Gordon made a number of changes to the side, bringing in new signings Arthur Gnahoua and Ousmane Fané for their debuts along with Keith Lowe, making his first appearance for the club in seven seasons.

The visitors, facing Harriers at Aggborough for the first time, had the ball in the net early on, former Harrier Adam Boyes seeing his elventh minute effort ruled out for offside.  Just two minutes later the lively Elton Ngwatala was allowed to run through the heart of the Guiseley defence but his shot was weak and straight at Steven Drench in the visitors' goal.

The opening exchanges of the game were quite lively and Guiseley soon had another good chance to open the scoring but Gavin Rothery blasted his shot well over the bar.  The rest of the half became bogged down in midfield with two poor sides cancelling each other out.

After the break Harriers enjoyed the lion's share of the possession but rarely troubled Drench.  When Drench was beaten, though, Harriers still had no luck, Ngwatala's 51st minute shot coming back off the post and Kelvin Langmead firing the rebound over.

Ngwatala turned provider later on for Matthew Barnes-Homer, playing the last game of his loan spell, but his shot was held by Drench and in all probability was going to go wide anyway.

The game turned twelve minutes from the end when Guiseley sent on Liam Dickinson in attack; 71 seconds after his entrance he had fired the visitors into the lead, left unmarked at the far post to volley in as Harriers - yet again - failed to defend a corner.

Defeat leaves Harriers rooted to the foot of the table, six points adrift and fourteen points from safety.
