Preview: Boston United v Harriers
Harriers head to darkest Lincolnshire seeking their fourth consecutive away win to remain amongst the league leaders.
Victory could send Harriers to the top of the table above Darlington and will certainly see them climb at least one place as the big game of the day sees early pacesetters Fylde and Halifax face each other.
John Eustace will be forced into changing the side as Ashley Carter begins a three-match ban following his sending-off against Stalybridge last weekend. Also missing is Jared Hodgkiss who is still struggling with the injury he picked up the previous weekend in the game against Chorley while George Forsyth will not feature as he has joined Southern League side Yate Town on loan for a month.
Boston have had a slow start to the season; three defeats to start were followed by a first victory in their last home game when Tamworth were the visitors, the game ending 3-0, but last time out the slipped to defeat again at the hands of Chorley. Manager Dennis Greene is not helped by an extensive injury list that includes Herve Pepe-Ngoma, Jay Rollins, Nat Brown, Shane Clarke, Kalern Thomas, Callum Chippendale and Waide Fairhurst.
Last time the sides met Harriers came out on top of an LDV Vans Trophy tie 3-0 at York Street thanks to a brace from Iyseden Christie and one from Michael Blackwood. Overall Boston have the edge with 15 wins to 14 from 35 games played but at York Street Harriers lead 9-8 from 18 games.
