Match Report
Carlisle came to Aggborough and belied their league postion to dump Kidderminster unceremoniously out of the Cup. Carlisle's great strength is their organised defending, once in front of an opponent they are very difficult to break down.

Kidderminster dominated possession but were unable to create any clear cut chances, the massed ranks of the visiting defence too complicated for them to cope with.

Carlisle fully deserved their victory, which ends a run of seven defeats in a row. Jan Molby later described his team's performance as the worst since he has been in charge.
