Match Report |
A stirring fightback from two goals down earned Kidderminster a
point from a game that they dominated and should have won. Dreadful
defending gifted Hull their goals, both arising in freak circumstances,
when Kidderminster should already have been ahead after Broughton had
shot over the bar.
Despite the early setback, Kidderminster kept playing their normal passing game and soon were well on top. It was no surprise then, when John Durnin's eighth goal of the season gave them hope, and Broughton's equaliser on the stroke of half time w as nothing more than they deserved. After the break the game lost it's momentum but Kidderminster were still on top creating a string of chances which they could not capitalise on. Doyle, Broughton and Bird all had gilt-edged opportunities which went astray and the home team had to settle for a point which was their first for five games. |
