Match Report |
One of Kidderminster's worst performances of the season was rewarded
with their heaviest defeat of the campaign. A dour first half was fairly
even until Plymouth took the lead. After this Kidderminster stepped up
the pressure and ended the period on top. Brougton wasted their
best cance of the half heading over the bar when unmarked in the
penalty area.
After the break the game began to open up with both teams trying to create chances although Kidderminster rarely troubled Jon Sheffield in the home goal. Broughton headed over again when well placed and Kidderminster never had a better chance. Plymouth grabbed a second which took the wind right out of Harriers' sails, and from this point on Kidderminster were never in the game and it was no surprise when the third goal went in. By the end of the game the fourth was no more than Plymouth deserved and Kidderminster could have no complaints. |
