Match Report |
Kidderminster stretched their unbeaten run to three games with a
fully deserved victory depite falling behind to a freak goal. After
going eight matches without a win, they have now won two of the last
three.
The early exchanges were played at a brisk pace, with Kidderminster looking like a team beginning to find form, but it was the visitors who opened the scoring with freak goal. Tim Clarke had done well to clear the danger but Parfait Medou-Otye was caught on the ball and Clarke had no time to recover. ' The set back of the Southend goal didn't cause Kidderminster heads to drop, however, and after the break they built up a period of pressure sparked by the introductin of Ian Bogie and Stewart Hadley. It was no surprise when Bogie let fly for the equaliser, and the only question then was when, not if, the winner would come. |
