Match Report
Harriers weathered an early storm from Oxford in a game which could have gone either way, but their lack of firepower was all too apparent yet again.

Oxford started very brightly and created a string of chances in the opening twenty minutes. Brock had to be at his best to deny Ricketts and Moody, but was beaten by Manny Omoyinmi. However, Mark Blake rushed back to clear off the line. This was the turning point as Harriers began to assert themselves from this point with some good approach play. Larkin, Blake and Clarkson all went close but McCaldon was only called into action by Bird.

After the break the game continued in a similar fashion, Harriers played well in the build-up, but laked a cutting edge up front. Oxford were content to let Harriers play in the middle of the park, but as the game wore on they gained confidence from Harriers' lack of a killer instinct and in turn grew stronger themselves. Thomas hit a blistering shot which Brock saved and the tried again from distance only to see his attempt deflected onto the post with the keeper going the other way.

Oxford were now the only team who were likely to snatch a winner, but Harriers held firm. A draw was a fair result but Kidderminster will see it as two points dropped, and their lack of goals continues to be a major worry as they have scored just once in five games.
