Match Report by St@tto |
Harriers took three points from a scrappy match to keep their play-off hopes
alive and record only their second double of the season.
The visitors had the best of a poor first half, with Drewe Broughton being denied by home keeper Alan Fettis on three occasions while Ian Joy had a good chance but shot wide. At the other end, Stuart Brock was not called into action very often, Bullock missed a couple of good chances but the keeper never had to make a save. The game began to improve slightly after the break, both teams created chances, but again York couldn't trouble Brock, only once did he have to save when Lee Nogan headed straight at him. Harriers sub Andy Ducros had a shot saved by Fettis and was later instgrumental in Harriers' winning goal. His through ball split the York defence wide open and Colin Larkin raced through to tuck his shot past the advancing keeper for his sixth goal of the season. |
