Match Report by St@tto
Harriers had to settle for a share of the spoils as they were held to a 1-1 draw by an Asprilla-free Darlington at Aggborough.

In an often scrappy match Harriers took a deserved lead with an Ian Foster penalty but were soon pegged back by their visitors when they again failed to defend a corner properly.

Harriers came closest to opening the scoring in the first half, Andy Ducros, making his first appearance of the season, headed against the crossbar and Sean Parrish followed up to put the ball across the line but was offside.  Harriers created the best chances throughout the period, Andy Collett in the Quakers' goal was called into action to save from Adie Smith, Sean Flynn and Bo Henriksen, while at the other end Jon Cullen came closest for the visitors.

Five minutes after the interval Kidderminster had a lucky escape when an unmarked Barry Conlon headed over from a corner.  Harriers capitalised on this let-off within two minutes, Ducros made a run into the Darlington penalty area and was nudged from behind by Simon Betts. Betts had his name taken and was lucky to remain on the field, the refere obviously deciding that he hadn't denied a clear goalscoring opportunity  Ian Foster stepped up to take the penalty and cheekily chipped it down the centre with Collett diving to his left to register his first goal of the season.

Ducros was a danger throughout and forced a save from Collett, but it was the visitors who found the net next.  Valentine's right wing corner was headed in by Matthew Clarke who just beat Conlon to the ball.  Darlington stepped up the pressure as the game wore on and forced a series of corners in the last fifteen minutes that caused Harriers a few problems.  Conlon did his best to find a winner but Brock, making his 150th appearance for the club, denied him once and he missed when it would have been easier to score with a later chance.
