Match Report by St@tto

Harriers were given a good workout by Stourbridge at Amblecote and were denied a first win of the summer by a late equaliser.

The number of trialists on view for Harriers was again reduced; just two - Jake Green and Reece Hales were in the squad.

Green again impressed at wing-back as Harriers once more experimented with a three centre-half formation with Green and Marvin Johnson as the wing backs.  Reece Styche also looked lively in attack.

Harriers dominated possession for most of the game but were unable to break down the Northern Premier League side's stubborn defence marshalled by former Harriers keeper Dean Coleman.

Aman Verma gave Harriers the lead after 49 minutes with a 25-yard shot that had Coleman grasping at thin air.  Harriers looked set to take the win until they failed to clear a corner with just three minutes left; Alex Dallison was on hand to turn the ball home with a shot that looped over Danny Lewis and into the back of the net.
