Match Report by St@tto
Two goalkeeping errors by Stuart Brock cost Harriers dearly in a game that they dominated and should have got something from.

The opening period was quite a scrappy affair. Harriers were soon on top despite not having played in the league for three weeks, and Exeter's run of five games without conceding a goal looked to be in danger. Henriksen, Bennett and Larkin all forced Arjan van Heusden into saves although none of them realy tested him.

It was no surprise, however, when Harriers took the lead. A well worked goal saw Appleby set Bennett free through the inside right channel, and Bennett made no mistake tuckin his shot inside the far post for his fifth goal in five games in the league.

After the break the home team began a little stronger, but still posed little danger, but Harriers failed to capitalise on the chances they created. The game turned with 20 minutes to go when the alert Greame Tomlinson spotted Brock off his line after the keeper's clearance had been intercepted by Read and lobbed him from 40 yards.

The goal sparked life into both the home team and their supporters and just four minutes later they were ahead. The ball was thrown in from the right and Brock missed the cross allowing Flack to get his head to the ball. Although his attempt was cleared off the line by Clarkson, the linesman decided that it had, in fact, gone in.

Harriers now found themselves chasing the game in a desperate search for a point when they should realy have taken all three, but even though Drewe Broughton was introduced up front the game was gone from them and their winning run was over.
