Match Report by St@tto
Torquay still await their first Football League victory over Harriers after they were comfortably beaten 2-0 at Aggborough.

Despite being in fourth place in the league before kick-off The Gulls gave a disappointing performance and were always under pressure from the home side.  Kidderminster soon gained control of the game, passing the ball around well and when they didn't have it they were pressurising the Torquay players well to win back possession.  Danny Williams in particular was having great influence in the centre of the midfield.

Harriers took the lead after 20 minutes, Bo Henriksen played the ball into the path of JJ Melligan who cut inside a defender before hitting a dipping shot over Kevin Dearden in the Torquay goal.  There was little other goalmouth action in the first half although Melligan went close again with a shot across the face of the goal that was deflected out for a corner.  At the other end Fraser Digby was not called into action at all.

In the second half Torquay improved a little and managed to find an attacking threat in Jonathan Osei-Kuffour who caused problems on the right wing.  Just past the hour mark Jason Fowler had a chance to bring the visitors level but hit his shot wide of the far post.

Harriers' second goal came out of the blue, the ball was played in to Drewe Broughton who knocked it down to Henriksen who chipped it over Dearden from 20 yards for his 14th goal of the season.

Torquay had another chance to reduce the arrears seven minutes from the end, Martin Gritton bounced a long range shot off the top of the crossbar and shortly afterwards David Woozley struck a shot just over the bar.  At no point, however, did it look like Harriers' position was under threat and they saw out time easily for a deserved win.
