Incoming: Jamie Tolley

Like Lee Fowler Jamie Tolley is 30, helping to raise the average age of the Harriers squad and add some more experience of playing at a higher level and in bigger matches.
He, also like Fowler, is a former Wales Under-21 international with 12 caps and one goal to his name which all came while he was at Shrewsbury Town where he started his career. In fact, when he made his debut for The Shrews he became their youngest ever player. He racked up nearly 200 appearances at Gay Meadow before spells at Macclesfield and Hereford United. He knows the Conference having spent the last three seasons in this league, the first two with Wrexham where he played alongside Fowler, while last season was an ill-fated spell with eventual Champions Mansfield but he only played twice.
At over six feet tall he is an imposing figure in the middle of the field, something that Harriers fans have bemoaned the lack of for years, but despite his size he seems surprisingly agile – at least from his performances in pre-season.
He has signed a contract that will keep him at Harriers until the end of the season.
When he joined the club in June he told the Official Website, “It was a pretty easy decision – we tried to sort something for me to come on loan last season from Mansfield but that didn’t get sorted for one reason or another. I’m buzzing to have signed here and I am looking forward to the up and coming season and hopefully we can progress on the finish of last season and get promoted.”
