Match Report
Harriers suffered their first pre-season defeat, but really only have themselves to blame. Having taken an early lead, sloppy defending gifted Blues two goals and once ahead, the visitors were content to sit on their lead.

Sam Shilton was involved in several early moves showing good form and it was his pass that set Scott Stamps free on the left who crossed for Andy Ducros to head in.

Birmingham provided the sternest test that Kidderminster have faced so far, Stan Laziridis in particular creating many opportunities most of which were handled well by the home defence. A long ball through the centre caused problems, however, a poor attempted clearance hit Horsfield and left him with a clear run on goal and he rounded Stuart Brock and rolled the ball into the empty net.

Set-pieces continued to be a problem for Harriers, Eaden floated a free-kick over the wall into the goal area and Darren Purse was allowed to run in unchallenged and head past Brock.

After the break the game slowed down and Blues were able to control possession, altough both sides created a few chances. A batch of substitutions didn't help the flow of the game and it gradually fizzled out to a low key end.
