A mix of youth and first team fell to a 5-3 reverse at the hands of Kidderminster Harriers at the Lamb on Tuesday night.

A long range strike after just 20 seconds by Harriers Gareth Sheldon following a defensive error on the right gave the visitors the lead and just three minutes later the same player made it 2-0 with a well taken right foot volley.

James Francis finished well just after the half hour mark for The Lambs (1-2) but it was Sheldon who completed his hat-trick on 40 minutes with a header from a Lee Thompson cross. (1-3)

A bizarre own goal by Harriers on 72 brought Tamworth back into the game - Steve Burton played the ball back to keeper Dan Lewis but over hit his 'lob' from the right by-line and the ball bounced once before nestling in the far corner unhindered. (2-3)   10 minutes later Sheldon notched his fourth, picking up a long through ball and finishing well (2-4) but Tamworth were not to be outdone and after Mark Cooper saw his close range blast stopped dead on the line Kyle Storer scored from the penalty spot after Jordan Foster had been felled in the area.(3-4)

But not to be outdone Thompson completed the scoring running onto a poor defensive header by Richard Dryden, rounding Mark Gayle and rolling the ball home.
