Match Report
Kidderminster eased into their pre-season warm-up schedule with a more than comfortable victory at Midland Alliance new boys Bromsgrove. Jan Molby used the occasion to utilise most of his squad making ten half-time substitions.

Harriers could have taken a first minute lead had Drewe Broughton controlled Peter Faulds' cross better. Harriers dominated the first half and should have been well ahead by the break, Matt Lowe saved well from Broughton and Shilton and the visitors wasted a number of other chances. The opening goal arrived shortly before the interval, Paul Webb's pass sprung the offside trap and Broughton steered his shot by Lowe and into the far corner.

After the break, the Kidderminster line-up had a more attacking look about it with Hadley, Ducros, Bird and Corbett all coming on. Bird and Corbett, however, both played in midfield as wide men. Stewart Hadley increased the advantage when he headed in from close range after Corbett's shot had been parried by Lowe.

Again, Harriers wasted a string of chances, but it was not long before the third goal arrived. Tony Bird picked up the ball on the right wing and stormed into the penalty area and beat Lowe with a low shot inside the near post.

The final goal of the game came from an Andy Ducros corner which took a number of deflections in the goal area before Hadley prodded it in from close range.
