| Match Report |
|
Kidderminster continued their good pre-season form with a fourth
win in five games against a strong Bristol City side.
Harriers played some attractive football, knocking the ball around well, but their opponents also played their part in an entertaining game that had action at both ends. Stewart Hadley gave Harriers the lead midway through the first half with a diving header to meet Andy Ducros' right wing cross, his fourth goal of the summer. After the break City made a series of changes, and as the game wore on they pressed for an equaliser which may have come had their finishing been better. At the other end Tony Bird rounded off a good move with a header that was well saved. Harriers withstood the pressure, however, and fully deserved their victory. |
