Match Report
Harriers clinch the League title in style, cruising to their biggest win of the season against a young Hednesford team. Harriers again used the game to run the rule over a number of trialists including three from Northampon Town - Garry Hughes, Andy Morrow and James Goul, and one from Coventry - Daniel Hall.

The goal blitz began in the third minute, Morrow setting up Thomas Poston to fire in from close range. Alex Lobban increased the lead playing a neat 1-2 with Andy Corbett, beating three defenders and tucking his shot inside the far post. Corbett and Morrow were involved in the build up to the third which Ben Davies fired in from over 30 yards out.

Despite the flow of goals into their own net, Hednesford's youngsters fought bravely and Brown and Simpson both forced saves from Stuart Brock. Lobban grabbed his second with a delightful chip from 30 yards out, and Morrow scored the fifth with a solo run through the visiting defence.

After the break, Hednesford strived to keep the score down and even had a spell on top. Tyrell Simpson hit the post and then the bar within the space of a couple of minutes midway through the half but Harriers survived. The goals started to flow again when Gary Barnett headed Gould's cross against the post and Lobban bundled in the rebound to complete his hat-trick. Barnett then set up Gould to volley in the seventh.

The goals continued to come thick and fast, Poston's blistering shot was too strong for Richards to hold, and Morrow was first to the loose ball to make the score 8-0. Richards brought down Barnett in the penalty area and Ben Davies stepped up to send the keeperr the wrong way with the spot kick. Matt Davies headed in Poston's left wing corner at the far post to take the score into double figures, and in the last minute Andy Corbett forced in the rebound after Morrow's shot had been saved for his own tenth goal of the season.
