Match Report
England international striker Andy Cole was in the crowd as Harriers continued their winning run with a comfortable victory over Burton. Dane Jesper Hjorth and Frenchman Joe Tshupula made their debuts in the Harriers line-up. Hjorth had actually played against Harriers in the Football League for Darlington earlier in the season.

A fiercely contested first half saw Burton's Tony Fierro stretchered off as the game was littered with more free-kicks than goalmouth action. Harriers led at the break from Neil MacKenzie's low shot which he did well to control as he was falling as he hit it.

After the break the game was no less competitive, Tshupula was shown the yellow card and was promptly susbtituted as tempers frayed. John Durnin increased the Harriers lead with a delightful chip from 25 yards. Late on Neil MacKEnzie hit a thunderbolt from outside the penalty area which had Nick Goodwin in the Burton goal grasping at thin air as it ripped past him into the net to wrap up the game.
