Match Report
Kidderminster made their debut in the Central League and were narrowly beaten by a Hull team that had scored seven in their previous game.

Hull had the better of the opening exchanges, Abdou Sall denied Rob Matthews with a good tackle and Rodney Rowe forced a save from Brendan Murphy in the Harriers goal. Harriers' best chance of the half fell to Stewart Hadley but Paul Musselwhite was equal to it and saved well. The opening goalcame shortly before the interval when Matt Bloomer headed in Crutwell's corner.

After the break there was much less goalmouth action, Rowe headed wide for Hull, and late on Mark Shail almost grabbed an equaliser bur Musselwhite saved his header from Tim Jackson's corner.
