Kidderminster comfortably beat bottom club Bromsgrove in a dull
game that strengthens their League championship challenge.
Matt Reeves had two chances to open the scoring, McGettrick saving both, before breaking the deadlock. A deep cross from the right found Phil Garner on the left, he fired the ball back across goal and Reeves turned it in at the far post. After the break Richard Langford soon doubled the lead, Lee Yates won the ball on the right and his cross was volleyed home emphatically by Langford. Bromsgrove were never in the game in the second half, and it was no surprise when Sam Wilkinson added the third sliding through a crowd to meet Tim Jackson's cross. |
