Match Reportby St@tto
Harriers gained a narrow victory over Hinckley, their first in the league since September, in a disappointing game at Aggborough.

The game soon became scrappy with very little goalmouth action, the visitors were the first to threaten to open the scoring after 16 minutes when goos close control from Danny Bowes created a chance for himself but he dragged his shot wide of the Harriers goal.  At the other end Harriers' best chance fell to Richard Langford but he hit his sot just past the post.  James Flinders in the Hinckley goal was only called into action once in the first half when he held a shot from Tom Willmore who had been Harriers' best attacking threat despite playing at left back.

Harriers took the lead five minutes before the break.  Daniel Lennon broke into the penalty area and was brought down by Leigh Platnauer, Chris McHale took the spot kick and sent Flinders the wrong way.

The second half was even worse than the first, neither team threatened to score and both struggled to string a series of passes together.  Five minutes from time, however, sloppy Harriers defending at a corner allowed Hinckley to draw level, Richard Letts sweeping in Lee Wileman's cross.  Harriers then regained the lead two minutes later, a good turn by Luke Marcus set him free of the defence and his low cross to the far post was turned in by Peter Carter.
