Harriers strengthened their position at the top of the league with a hard fought victory over lowly Bedworth.

It took just one and a half minutes for Harriers to take the lead, a free kick from the left wing found it's way to the far post where Casey Caggini fired in from close range for his first goal in a red shirt.  Harriers dominated the first half but poor finishing prevented them from building on the good start.  Matt Lewis had a shot saved by Oddy in the visitors' goal and missed a couple of other chances while at the other end a weak shot from Dempsey that Yarnold saved easily and one from Judge that found the car park were all that Bedworth could muster.

After the break Harriers were on top even more, the finishing improved and Bedworth were indebted to Oddy who made a string of saves, denying Lewis twice more before the second goal came.  Again Oddy saved, this time from Michael Xiourouppa, but didn't hold onto the ball and Caggini followed up to steer the loose ball into the net.  Phil Garner had a chance to increase the lead but his chip to the top corner was tipped over the bar by Oddy.

Harriers controlled the rest of the game but were unable to build further on their lead.  The visitors, however, never looked capable of breaking down a Harriers defence which recorded it's eighth clean sheet of the season.
