Match Report
Middlesbrough fielded their strongest side which proved to be too much for gallant Kidderminster. Leon Ryan only needed 26 seconds to open the scoring, chipping the ball over danby from a long clearance by Russell.

Middlesbrough continued the half making attack after attack but John Danby kept them at bay. In the last minute of the first half, Pierce brought down Murphy in the penalty area. Danby, however, was again the hero, pushing Downing's kick over the bar.

Boro played the second half as they had the first, always on the attack and Ryan eventually doubled the lead when Danby's miscued clearance went straight to him. Murphy created the third, beating two defenders before crossing for Agbatar to head in. Mark Pierce pulled a goal back when Russell in the Middlesbrough goal failed to collect a corner, but Boro soon scored again Downing and Agbatar combining to set up Ryan to complete his hat trick.
