** LATEST NEWS **

  • 25 February - Harriers have taken Carl Brown on trial from Derby County.
  • 25 February - Cardiff triumph 4-2 at Aggborough, ending Harriers' three game unbeaten run. Two goals from Drewe Broughton are not enough as The Bluebirds score twice in the last five minutes of each half.
  • 24 February - Scott Stamps could return to the side in tomorrow's lunchtime clash with Cardiff at Aggborough. Ian Foster is still out with his hamstring injury, however, while Andy Ducros and Mark Shail have both recovered from the flu that kept them out against Southend. Despite turning the game against Southend in midweek, Ian Bogie and Stewart Hadley may have to settle for a place on the bench again. Expect Harriers to line-up as follows: Clarke, Clarkson, Stamps, Bogie, Hinton, Shail, Bennett, Smith, Broughton, MacKenzie, Durnin.
  • 20 February - Harriers storm back to beat Southend after trailing to a freak first half goal, substitutes Ian Bogie and Stewart Hadley score the goals to stretch the unbeaten run to three games.
  • 20 February - Southend visit Aggborough tonight with Harriers looking to build on their fledgling unbeaten run of two games. Manager Jan Molby is set to name an unchanged team to the one that gained the creditable 0-0 draw at Orient. My prediction for tha Harriers line-up, therefore, is as follows: Clarke, Clarkson, Medou-Otye, Doyle, Hinton, Shail, Bennett, Smith, Broughton, MacKenzie, Durnin.
  • 17 February - A battling performance gains a creditable 0-0 draw at Brisbane Road against Leyton Orient. the Os were reduced to ten men in the second half with the sending-off of Carl Griffiths but Harriers couldn't make the extra man tell and had to settle for a point.
  • 16 February - Drewe Broughton completes his move from Peterborough, signing a three-and-a-half year contract, and becomes the seconf most expensive player in Harriers' history at £50000.
  • 10 February - Despite going behind to an early goal, Harriers came back to earn their first victory since Boxing Day. Tony Cottee proved that he is still a master of his art with a classic goalscorers' goal as Barnet outpassed Harriers in the first half, but after the break a 35 yard rocket from Neil MacKenzie and Drewe Broughton's third goal in five games gave Harriers victory.
  • 10 February - Harriers today entertain Tony Cottee's Barnet looking to welcome back several injured players. Scott Stamps may be available, while both Stewart Hadley and Ian Bogie came through Wednesday's reserve team game with no ill effects. St@tto predicts the following Harriers line-up: Brock, Clarkson, Smith, Doyle, Hinton, Shail, MacKenzie, Horne, Broughton, Ducros, Durnin. (Beware, current score: St@tto 0 Molby 37!!!).
  • 5 February - The weather has caused the postponement of tonight's youth game at Cradley, and tomorrow's trip to Shrewsbury is subject to a pitch inspection at 10am.
  • 3 February - Carlisle remain Harriers' bogey side, inflicting the third defeat in four games. Poor early defending allowed Carlisle to take a 2-0 lead which they never looked like surrendering despite Harriers having nearly all of the play in the second half.
  • 3 February - Harriers travel to Carlisle today with no fresh injury worries other than Scott Stamps' troublesome hamstring, but at the same time nobody is likely to return. Carlisle have Ian Stevens available after an abscence. I predict Harriers line-up as follows: Brock, Clarkson, Smith, Doyle, Hinton, Shail, MacKenzie, Horne, Broughton, Ducros, Durnin.
