Match Report by St@tto

Harriers got their pre-season preparations properly underway with a comfortable victory over Zamaretto League side Bishop's Cleeve.

The margin of victory should have been greater; Harriers missed two first half penalties.  First Nick Wright saw his weak effort saved by home keeper Dan Greenhouse in the 12th minute after Lee Vaughan had been fouled.  In stoppage time Luke Medley was brought down in the penalty area; he took the penalty himself and Greenhouse again guessed correctly, diving to his left to keep the spot kick out.

At the break multiple substitutions were made with most of Harriers' new signings making an appearance.  It was one of the new players, Steve Guinan, who broke the deadlock just before the hour mark flicking the ball deftly over Greenhouse.  There was an appearance in the Bishop's Cleeve midfield of former Harrier John Finnigan for the final 25 minutes and he still looked a classy player.  James Vincent added the second eleven minutes from the end with a shot from distance and then trialist Greg Mills burst into the penalty area before slotting home the third from a narrow angle in the 83rd minute.
