Match Report by St@tto

Harriers scored five goals for the first time this season to record their first league double of the campaign.

Unchanged from the side that beat Wrexham Harriers were quickly in charge of the game and had the visitors on the back foot.

Only Cameron Belford in the Tamworth goal kept them from going behind until 19 minutes through the first half when Michael Gash's pass set Anthony Malbon free to take the ball around the keeper and roll it into the empty net.  Gash himself had already been denied by Belford at that point with a long range shot that was pushed over the bar.

Harriers took control of the game just a couple of minutes after breaking the deadlock; Gash again the provider, this time for Joe Lolley who cut in from the right wing and rifled a shot in off the far post.

Before the break Harriers pressed further and saw Le Vaughan denied by Belford, Amari Morgan-Smith shoot wide and Gash head against the bar.

Early in the second half former Harrier Richard Peniket headed home from a corner after he was left unmarked to reduce the deficit.  On 55 minutes Harriers restored the two-goal advantage; Vaughan's long pass sent Lolley away on the right, he broke into the penalty area before pulling the ball back to Morgan-Smith who drilled it past Belford.  Tamworth wouldn't roll over, though, and pulled another goal back on the hour, David Morgan blasting in a free-kick from beyond 25 yards that gave Danny Lewis no chance.

Morgan-Smith scored again to make it 4-2, turning the ball in from close range after Jack Byrne knocked back Kyle Storer's corner.  Storer then got on the scoresheet himself with eight minutes to go after being set up by Lolley.  In the last minute the visitors completed the scoring when Nick Chadwick was left free in the penalty area to fire into the roof of the net.
