Match Report by St@tto

A third consecutive defeat saw the Harriers slip to fourth in the league overtaken by The Mariners.

Things could have been so much better for Harriers had they been able to build upon the 8th minute lead they took after Michael Gash's wickedly deflected shot looped over James McKeown.

Sloppy defending allowed Grimsby level on 17 minutes, Craig Disley hooking the ball home from close range after The Reds failed to deal with a long throw from the right.  Scott Neilsen fired the home team into the lead after 28 minutes, again after Harriers had failed to deal with a dead ball situation.

After their early promising start Harriers failed to trouble the home team at all and fell further behind just past the hour mark; a long clearance from Mckeown was flicked on into the path of Neilsen who broke into the penalty area before flicking the ball over the onrushing Danny Lewis.
