Match Report by St@tto

Harriers' defence stood strong again and recorded their fourth clean sheet of the season as they drew at Macclesfield.

The visitors had the best of an absorbing encounter and had chances to win the game but had to settle for a share of the spoils as Macclesfield were also in no mood to lose their unbeaten start to the season.

There were few goalscoring chances in the first half, but what there were fell to Harriers; Craig Reid saw his snap shot held by home keeper Rhys Taylor and Aman Verma shot wide from distance.

Jamie Grimes, playing in midfield, set up Reid early in the second half but he curled his shot from a narrow angle on the left wide of the far post.

The best chance of the game fell to Reece Styche five minutes from the end; Grimes, again, was the creator crossing from the left but Styche headed over at the near post.

The Harriers defence was so strong that Macclesfield only managed once to force Danny Lewis into a save, Waide Fairhurst finally getting through late in the second half.
