Harriers Beaten Again: Solihull Moors 3-2 Harriers
Harriers fought back from two down at Solihull only to fall behind again and slip to their second defeat in as many games.
More trialists were brought in with Kristian Dennis, a striker formerly with Macclesfield; Stuart Giddings, a left back most recently with Darlington; James McPike, a striker once with Birmingham; and Pat Sayce, a young midfielder who came through the ranks at Bristol City.
Facing a more realistic test against their Conference North hosts than they had against WBA at the weekend Harriers found themselves two behind at the break to goals from Junior English and Ryan Beswick.
Wholesale changes at the break saw a better performance in the second half and Harriers took just three minutes to get back into the game, McPike scoring from close range. Five minutes later Dennis fired in the equaliser five mintues later but the home side regained the lead on 73 minutes when Ross Dempster scored from the penalty spot.
