Riley Departs

Want-away defender Martin Riley has today come to an agreement with The Harriers that allows him to leave and seek a new club.

A brief statement of the Official Website states that the agreement "compensates Harriers for the players' services and allows him, as a free agent, to sign for a new club with immediate effect".  That new club is most likely to be Cheltenham Town where he will be able to link up with Mark Yates, the manager who brought him to Aggborough.

In his time in Kidderminster he started 83 matches and came off the bench twice, scoring four goals in the process.

Meanwhile, Darryl Knights who was released earlier in the summer has joined conference new-boys Newport County where he will team up with former team-mates Robbie Matthews, Lee Baker and Sam Foley and another ex-Harrier Paul Bignot.
