Nick Is The Wright Man For Harriers

Tamworth and England 'C' striker Nick Wright has today become the latest addition to the Harriers squad.

The 6'3" frontman becomes the eleventh player brought in by Steve Burr since the end of last season, and signs a contract that will keep him at Aggborough until the end of the coming season.

The 22 year-old began his career as a junior at Birmingham City but he never made it into the first team there.  In 2006 he was sent out on a series of loans that got his career moving; first he had a spell at Tamworth, then Bristol City and finally Northampton Town.

Following his release by The Blues he returned to The Lamb in October 2007; his goals helped fire Tamworth to promotion from Conference North and even though he was less prolific for The Lambs in Conference National, he was still called up to the England 'C' squad where he worked with Harriers boss Burr.

He should make his first appearance in a Harriers shirt in Saturday's home friendly with Burton Albion.

Meanwhile Burr is hoping to finalise a deal to bring trialist Aaron Griffiths to Aggborough permanently by the end of the week.
