Trialist Griffiths Signs On
Young left back Aaron Griffiths' successful trial has earned him a permanent contract with the Harriers.
The the three appearances that he made in the last week-and-half told Steve Burr all that he needed to know to offer him a place in the squad for the coming season.
The local lad, 20, began his career as a junior at Aston Villa but was released from there without making the first team. He had unsuccessful trials with Coventry City and here with Harriers in 2008 before finally linking up with Halesowen Town in March 2009. His efforts to get into full-time football took him to Exeter City for a trial last summer which came for nothing and he spent the season back at The Grove.
His newly signed contract will keep him at Aggborough until the end of the coming season.
