Crewe Kids Brushed Aside: Harriers 4-0 Crewe Alexandra
Harriers continued their winning streak with a very comfortable 4-0 victory over a young Crewe Alexandra side at Aggborough.
Steve Burr changed the side around from the one that had beaten Burton at the weekend, with trialists Henry Eze from Halesowen Town and mysterious striker Charlie Bird coming in alongside some of the players who didn't get to feature in the last game.
Harriers took the lead after 11 minutes, Nick Wright forcing in his first goal in a Harriers shirt at the second attempt after good work by Matt Blair. Four minutes later Bird doubled the advantage following a Kyle Hadley cross; John Finnigan scored the third from the penalty spot on 29 minutes as Harriers took complete control of the game.
After the break Harriers continued to dominate and midway through the half completed the scoring through Tom Shaw. There could have been an even greater winning margin as Mike Williams hit the post and Callum Gittings fired into the side netting.
