Harriers End Pre-Season With Another Win: Hednesford Town 0-3 Harriers

Harriers wrapped up their pre-season campaign with a sixth successive victory, beating Zamaretto League Premier Division side Hednesford comfortably at Keys Park.

Steve Burr fielded what is likely to be the team that starts the Conference season at York next weekend, and they got off to a flying start; Chris McPhee scoring with just 12 seconds on the clock.

Harriers suffered a setback just after the half-hour stage when Finnigan had to leave the field on a stretcher with a knee injury.  The second goal came two minutes before the break; Lee Morris chipping in his second of the summer.

Harriers had two goals ruled out for offside, scored by Callum Gittings and Keith Briggs, but Briggs wrapped up the scoring eight minutes from the end.
