Williams Marc Two Arrives On Loan

Steve Burr has further strengthened the Harriers squad with the addition of Wrexham striker Marc Williams on loan.

Subject to International Clearance the new addition, who is the brother of Mike, will go straight into the squad to face newly-promoted Southport tomorrow evening.

He will spend the next three months at Aggborough, although Wrexham have the option to recall him after the first 28 days of the loan and he will not be allowed to play in next week's game between the clubs at The Racecourse.

At 22 Marc is the younger of the two brothers and is a Welsh Under-21 international, featuring in the squad as recently as November 2009.  Last season he also lined up alongside his brother in the Welsh Semi-Professional side for the game against Poland.

Like his brother he has spent his whole career at Wrexham and has scored 17 times in 82 appearances; the 2008-09 season was his most prolific when he hit 13 goals in 23 games before injury befell him.  A broken metatarsal limited his appearances in the team last season.

Speaking to the Official Website, Burr said, "Marc is someone I have been keeping an eye on for a while now and I'm pleased we've been able to agree something with Wrexham to get him here.  He has a good goal scoring record and is in good shape following his injury so hopefully we can get him hitting the back of the net for us."
