Preview: Wrexham v Harriers
Looking to bounce back from two straight defeats Harriers face a tough test tonight with a trip to Wrexham.
Steve Burr may make changes to the side that capitulated to Mansfield at the weekend, some of them may be enforced as Callum Gittings and Marc Albrighton both picked up injuries at the weekend and are doubtful, Tom Sharpe and Matt Blair stand by to step in, while John Finnigan now has a calf injury that will keep him out for some time having got over the knee injury that has prevented him from taking part so far this season. Lee Morris, however, may be able to take part for the first time since limping out at half time at York on Opening Day. Definitely missing are Lee Vaughan, who completes his four-game suspension, and on-loan Marc Williams who is not allowed to play against his parent club as part of the loan agreement that brought him to Aggborough.
Wrexham have also had a disappointing start to the season, following on from an Opening Day victory against Cambridge they have slumped to defeats at Forest Green and Eastbourne that have brought pressure on the head of manager Dean Saunders. Saunders only has one injury problem to contend with, that of Frank Sinclair who has a groin strain.
Tonight's referee is James Adcock from Nottinghamshire. This will be his fourth Harriers match; last season he did the 2-1 defeat at Rushden and the season before he was in charge of a 1-1 draw at Northwich and a 5-1 win at Woking.
I expect Harriers to line-up as follows (4-4-2): Lewis; Shaw, Briscoe, Sharpe, Mike Williams; Hankin, Briggs, Byrne, Blair; McPhee, Wright.
Subs (from): Griffiths, Hadley, Stevens.
Missing (injured): Finnigan, Albrighton, Morris, Gittings.
Missing (suspended): Vaughan.
Missing (Unavailable): Marc Williams.
Tonight's weather forecast suggests that in Wrexham at kick-of time it will be showery with a temperature of 14°C.
